Indications
symptomatic control of all allergic conditions, including urticaria, hay fever, food and drug allergies, insect bites, vasomotor rhinitis, and angioedema.
Mode of application:
Inside, after eating. Adults: 4mg every
Contraindications
should not be taken by children under 2 years of age.
Up to 6 years old — without medical supervision. Hypersensitivity to antihistamines.
Patients on treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors within the previous 14 days.
Side effects
Rarely — palpitations, tachycardia, arrhythmia, hypotension, hemolytic anemia, headaches, tinnitus, increased viscosity of bronchial secretions, chest tightness, muscle weakness, hypersensitivity reactions, photosensitivity and skin reactions such as urticaria, hepatitis (jaundice), depression … Sedation from mild drowsiness to deep sleep. Sometimes — blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dyspepsia and anorexia; dry mouth, urinary retention.
Impact on ability to drive: Chlorpheniramine causes drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision and impaired motor coordination. Therefore, patients are advised not to drive or operate a car while taking chlorpheniramine tablets.
Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C, in a dry place out of the reach of children.
