Composition
Each tablet contains loratadine 10 mg
Auxiliary components:
Calcium phosphate dihydrate, lactose monohydrate, povidone xl, povidone k30, magnesium stearate, talc, aerosil 200.
Properties
HI-histamine receptor blocker (long-acting). Suppresses the release of histamine and leukotriene C4 from mast cells. Prevents the development and facilitates the course of allergic reactions. It has antiallergic, antipruritic, antiexudative effect. Reduces capillary permeability, prevents the development of tissue edema. Antiallergic effect develops within the first 1-3 hours after taking the drug, reaches a maximum within 812 hours and lasts 24 hours. It does not affect the central nervous system (since it does not penetrate the blood-brain barrier) and does not cause addiction.
Indications
Mosedin is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis and chronic
idiopathic urticaria in adults and children weighing more than 30 kg.
Method of administration and dosage:
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the auxiliary components of the drug, lactation period.
With care: liver failure, pregnancy.
Precautions:
Side effects
In clinical studies in adults and adolescents, the most common adverse reactions were drowsiness (1.2%), headache (0.6%), increased appetite (0.5%) and insomnia (0.1%).
