Structure:

Each p / o tablet contains:

Famotidine — 20mg.

Properties

Famotidine is a competitive inhibitor of histamine H2 receptors. Acts by reducing the amount of acid secreted by the stomach.

Indications

Treatment and prevention of ulcers in the stomach and intestines. Conditions in which the stomach produces too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions in which acid passes from the esophagus into the stomach, causing heartburn.

Mode of application:

For heartburn, indigestion and indigestion — 1 tablet as needed when symptoms occur or 30-60 minutes before meals; no more than 2 tablets per day. If symptoms persist for 5 days or if symptoms recur within 2 weeks after completion of the course, clinical investigation is required.

Contraindications

Childhood; hypersensitivity to any component of the drug; pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions:

malignant neoplasms of the stomach should be excluded. Famotidine does not exclude the presence of a malignant stomach tumor. No dose adjustment is required in the elderly.

Side effects

headache, constipation, or diarrhea; labored breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat; heart palpitations with severe dizziness; unexplained muscle pain, weakness, fever, unusual tiredness, dark urine.

Storage

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25C in a dry place out of the reach of children.

a cardboard box contains 1,2,3 blisters of 10 tablets each, paper instructions.
