Structure:

Each sustained-release tablet contains:

Diclofenac Sodium 75mg

Auxiliary components: cetyl alcohol, magnesium stearate, povidone, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, sucrose, hypromellose, red iron oxide, macrogol 8000, polysorbate 80, talc, titanium dioxide, black iron oxide.

Properties

Diclofenac sodium belongs to non-steroidal drugs with pronounced antirheumatic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties.

Indications

Inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system: rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis and spondyloarthritis, pain in the spine, extra-articular rheumatism, post-traumatic and postoperative pain syndromes accompanied by inflammation and edema, including after dental or orthopedic operations; gynecological diseases accompanied by pain and inflammation, for example, primary dysmenorrhea and adnexitis.

Mode of application:

For oral administration. The tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid during meals. The recommended minimum dose for adults is 100 — 150 mg, 2 tablets of 75 mg are prescribed. In milder cases, as well as with long-term therapy, a dose of 75 to 100 mg per day is effective. If symptoms are most pronounced during the night or in the morning, take 75 and 100 mg tablets, preferably in the evening.

Contraindications

Childhood; hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, aspirin; severe heart, hepatic, renal failure; bradycardia, severe arterial hypotension; stomach bleeding; period of pregnancy, lactation.

Precautions:

With the development of liver diseases, the drug should be discontinued. Patients with diseases of the heart and blood vessels during therapy should be under the supervision of a physician. Weak and elderly patients, patients with low body weight should use the minimum therapeutically effective dose. Before prescribing the medication, it is necessary to undergo a clinical examination for patients with peptic ulcers; with a history of intestinal bleeding; with damage to the liver and kidneys, including a history; with high blood pressure. With bronchial asthma, hay fever, acute and chronic respiratory pathologies, in patients with nasal polyps, taking the drug can cause asthmatic attacks. Treatment of these conditions is symptomatic.

Side effects

Headaches, dizziness; vertigo; tachy- / bradycardia, arterial hypertension, arrhythmia, heart failure; painful sensations in the abdomen, vomiting, cramps, flatulence, nausea, diarrhea, dyspepsia; fluid retention in the body, edema; rash, Quincke’s edema.
