Composition
Each 5 ml of suspension contains:
Ibuprofen 100mg
Auxiliary components:
Sucrose, methylparaben, propylparaben, sodium benzoate, kaolin, citric acid anhydride, sodium dihydrate, emulsion of simethicone 30%, agar, sorbitol solution 70% polysorbate 80, vanillin, orange oil, aerosil 200, purified water.
Properties
NSAlDs. It has antipyretic, analgesic and antiinflammatory effects.
The antipyretic effect is due to the blocking of COX-I and COX-2 in the arachidonic acid cascade of the central nervous system, which leads to a decrease in the synthesis of prostaglandins, a decrease in their concentration in the cerebrospinal fluid and to a decrease in the excitation of the thermoregulation center. The effect of lowering the temperature with fever begins 30 minutes after taking the drug, its maximum effect is manifested after 3 hours.
Indications
The drug is intended only for the treatment of children.
Increased body temperature of various origins with:
colds;
Contraindications
hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or other NSAlDs (including acetylsalicylic acid), as well as to the auxiliary components of the drug;
severe liver failure, active liver disease;
-confirmed hyperkalemia;
Side effects
From the digestive system: NSAlDsgastropathy (nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, heartburn, abdominal pain, diarrhea, flatulence, pain and discomfort in the epigastric region); ulceration of the mucous membrane of the gums and mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract (in some cases complicated by perforation and bleeding); dryness of the oral mucosa, aphthous stomatitis, pancreatitis, constipation, hepatitis.
From the respiratory system: shortness of breath, bronchospasm.
From the urinary system: acute renal failure, polyuria, cystitis.
