Composition
Each p / o tablet contains:
Ezetimibe 10mg
Atorvastatin — 20mg.
Auxiliary components: calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose, pH 102, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, PVP K30 and magnesium stearate.
Properties
Atoresa is a fixed-dose combination of atorvastatin and ezetimibe. Atorvastatin is a third generation hypolipidemic drug from the statin group. Reduces the level of «bad» cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood, while increasing the level of «good» cholesterol (high density lipoprotein or HDL). Ezetimibe lowers blood cholesterol levels by inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol by the small intestine. It lowers total cholesterol, LDL, and triglycerides, and also increases HDL in patients with hypercholesterolemia. The combination of atorvastatin and ezetimibe is effective in improving total cholesterol, LDL,
triglycerides, and HDL cholesterol.
Indications
Treating high cholesterol levels and reducing the risk of stroke, heart attack, or other heart complications in people with type 2 diabetes, coronary artery disease, or other risk factors.
Mode of application:
Recommended dose: 1 tablet once a day, as a single dose at any time of the day, regardless of food intake. No dose adjustment is required in patients with renal impairment. The drug is not recommended for use in patients with impaired liver function.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ezetimibe, atorvastatin. Active liver disease or unexplained persistent elevation in serum transaminases. Pregnant and lactating women.

Side effects
Atoresis is generally well tolerated. Upper respiratory tract infections, headache, myalgia, back pain, arthralgia, sinusitis, pharyngitis, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and fatigue are rare.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C in a dry place out of the reach of children.
