Properties
A synthetic agent, a derivative of sialicamide, used as a broad-spectrum antiparasitic agent, the effectiveness of which has been confirmed against protozoa and helminths. It is recommended for use in patients under 1 year of age who are infected with Cryptosporidium parvum and Giardia lamblia.
The antihelminthic effect is manifested through
the absorption of an enzyme necessary for the vital activity of parasites, in particular, the drug prevents the polymerization of the tubulin protein in helminths. In relation to protozoa, its action manifests itself in a different way:
Indications
Tablets and suspension are used for the treatment of parasitic infections, where the causative agents of the disease are protozoa (giardiasis, amoebic, ciliated dysentery, dyentamobiasis, urogenital trichomoniasis), coccidia (cryptosporodiosis, isosporosis, cyclosporosis) and viruses. Effective for helminthiasis. Roundworms, trematode fasciola vulgaris, fasciola giantica, bovine tapeworm are especially sensitive to it. 1 year old and older.
The tablets are used only for patients who have reached 12 years of age.

Side effects

Storage method:
