Composition
Each tablet contains:
Bumetanide 1 mg
Properties
Short-acting loop diuretic. Violates the active reabsorption of sodium and chlorine ions in the thick segment of the ascending part of Henle’s loop (may have an additional effect on the proximal tubules). Increases the excretion of potassium, calcium, magnesium ions, retains uric acid in the body.
It causes expansion of peripheral veins, reduces preload, reduces left ventricular filling pressure and pulmonary artery pressure, and reduces systemic blood pressure.
After oral administration, the diuretic effect develops within the first hour, reaches a maximum after 1-2 hours and lasts 4-6 hours depending on the dose.
Indications
Edematous syndrome of various origins (including chronic heart failure, portal hypertension syndrome, nephrotic syndrome).
diuresis. Late gestosis (including eclampsia).
Method of administration and dosage:
Contraindications
Acute renal failure (anuria), severe renal failure, I trimester of pregnancy, lactation, hypersensitivity to bumetanide.
Precautions:
It should be used with caution in diabetes mellitus, hyperuricemia (including a history of gout, urate nephrourolithiasis), hearing impairment, liver failure (cirrhosis, ascites hypokalemia contributes to the development of hepatic encephalopathy), myocardial infarction, pancreatitis in anamnesis ( including in diseases contributing to hypokalemia), along with drugs, the toxicity of which increases with hypokalemia, in elderly patients.
Side effects
From the side of water and electrolyte metabolism: hyponatremia, hypokalemia, hypochloremic alkalosis, increased fatigue, weakness.
On the part of the cardiovascular system: orthostatic hypotension, arrhythmias.
From the digestive system: dry mouth, thirs diarrhea, anorexia, liver dysfunction
