Properties
The mechanism by which Modafinil promotes wakefulness is unknown. Modafinil has activating effects similar to sympathomimetic agents, including amphetamine and methylphenidate, although the pharmacological profile of modafinil is not identical to the pharmacological composition of sympathomimetic amines.
Indications
Bravamax is indicated for increasing wakefulness in adult patients with excessive sleepiness caused by narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea, or sleep-wake cycling.
