Composition
Each tablet, p/ o contains:
Analgin — 300mg.
Caffeine — 100mg
Ergotamine tartarate — Img
Auxiliary components: talc, magnesium stearate, starch.
Properties
Ergotamine tartarate is the most effective substance for relieving migraine pain. Its effect is further enhanced by caffeine and analgin, and has an analgesic effect that helps relieve pain attacks.

Mode of application:
to prevent an acute attack, take 1 to 4 tablets per day. One dose (1 to 2 tablets) is sufficient in most cases to prevent an attack (or as directed by a physician).
Contraindications
peripheral vascular disease, ischemic heart disease, impaired renal or liver function, as well as during pregnancy.
Side effects
increased risk of agranulocytosis and shock. Changes in heart rate, nausea, vomiting, leg weakness, muscle pain in the limbs, numbness and tingling in the fingers and toes, localized edema, itching.
Drug interaction:
Taking ergotamine and macrolide antibiotics such as erythromycin leads to ergotism (poisoning of the human body by the alkalo• of the ergot fungus). Ergotamine should no given to patients receiving sumatriptan until 6 hours have elapsed after stopping the drug.
Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C in a dry place out of the reach of children.
