Composition
Each 150 ml spray contains:
Zinc bacitracin 12,500 IU
Hydrocarbon aerosol up to 150 ml
Properties
Bacitracin is a polypeptide antibiotic that inhibits the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall. Bacitracin is especially active against grampositive microorganisms such as ß-hemolytic streptococci, staphylococci, and some gramnegative pathogens. Bacitracin resistance is extremely rare.
Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. Active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Through the use of a combination of these two antibiotics, a wide spectrum of action of this agent and synergism of action against a number of microorganisms, for example, staphylococci, are achieved.
Indications
It is used to treat and prevent infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to neomycin and / or bacitracin: bacterial skin infections of limited prevalence.
Method of administration and dosage:
Outwardly. Shake well before use. Spray the aerosol with a thin layer at a distance of 20-25 cm on the affected areas 2 — 4 times a day for adults and children; if appropriate, under the bandage.
