Composition

Each capsule contains:

Alfacalcidol 1 mcg

Auxiliary components:

anhydrous citric acid, propyl gallate, alphatocopherol, ethanol, peanut butter.

Properties

Vitamin, regulator of calcium-phosphorus metabolism.

Alfacalcidol (la-hydroxyvitamin D3) is rapidly converted in the liver to 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3, an active metabolite of vitamin D

(calcitriol), which acts as a regulator of calci and phosphorus metabolism.

Indications

osteoporosis (including postmenopausal, senile, steroid);

osteodystrophy in chronic renal failure;

-hypoparathyroidism and pseudohypoparathyroidism;

Contraindications

-hypercalcemia;

-hyperphosphatemia (with the exception of hyperphosphatemia in hyperparathyroidism);

-hypermagnesemia;

Side effects

From the digestive system: anorexia, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal pain, nausea, drynes the oral mucosa, a feeling of discomfort in t epigastric region, constipation, diarrhea; rarely — a slight increase in the activity of liver enzymes.

From the nervous system: general weakness, fatigue, headache, dizziness, drowsiness.

On the part of the cardiovascular system: tachycardia.
