Composition

Each 100 g of gel contains:

Lidocaine hydrochloride 2 g

Cetylpyridinium chloride 0.1 g

Auxiliary components:

Hydroxy propyl cellulose, strawberry flavor, propylene glycol, sodium saccharin, purified water.

Properties

Combined preparation for local use, contains an antiseptic and local anesthetic.

Cetylpyridinium chloride — an antiseptic from the group of quaternary ammonium compounds, has bactericidal activity against gram-positive and, to a lesser extent, gramnegative bacteria. Changes the permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of bacteria, disrupts the internal oxidative respiration mechanisms of bacteria, which leads to their death. Indications

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx: pharyngitis; laryngitis; catarrhal sore throat; stomatitis; ulcerative gingivitis; tonsillitis (as an aid).

Method of administration and dosage:

Applied topically, to treat the oral cavity every 3-4 hours, as needed.

Contraindications

I trimester of pregnancy; period of breastfeeding; children under 6 years of age (for dosage forms intended for children over 6 years of age and adults), hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Carefully:

Open wounds of the oral mucosa.

Side effects

From the digestive system: rarely — nausea; very rarely — diarrhea.

From the skin and subcutaneous tissues: very rarely — skin rash, itching.

Local reactions: rarely — local irritation of the oral mucosa and throat.
