Each capsule contains:

Ascorbic acid 500 mg.

Auxiliary components:

Biovax, microcrystalline cellulose, acid stearate.

Properties

Vitamin C. Ascorbic acid is necessary for the formation of intracellular collagen, it is required to strengthen the structure of teeth, bones and capillary walls. Participates in redox reactions, tyrosine metabolism, the conversion of folic acid to folinic acid, carbohydrate metabolism, lipid and protein synthesis, iron metabolism, cellular respiration, activates the synthesis of steroid hormones. Reduces the need for vitamins Bl, B2, A, E, folic acid, pantothenic acid, increases the body’s resistance to infections; improves the absorption of iron, contributing to its deposition in a reduced form. It has antioxidant properties.

Indications

For systemic use: prevention and treatment of vitamin C hypo- and avitaminosis; ensuring the body’s increased need for vitamin C during the period of growth, during pregnancy, lactation, with heavy loads, overwork, during the period of convalescence after long-term serious illnesses; in winter, with an increased risk of developing infectious diseases.

Hypersensitivity to ascorbic acid.

Precautions:

Use with caution in patients with hyperoxaluria, impaired renal function, a history of indications of urolithiasis.
