Composition

Each tablet contains:

Mesalazine 500 mg

Auxiliary components:

sodium carbonate, glycine, povidone, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, calcium stearate, hypromellose, methacrylic acid and methacrylate copolymer (1: 1), talc, titanium dioxide, iron dye yellow oxide, macrogol, butyl methacrylate.

Properties

Has a local anti-inflammatory (due to inhibition of the activity of neutrophilic lipoxygenase and synthesis of Pg and leukotrienes). It inhibits migration, degranulation, phagocytosis of neutrophils, as well as the secretion of lg by lymphocytes. It has an antibacterial effect against E. coli and some cocci (manifested in the large intestine). It has an antioxidant effect (due to the ability to bind to free oxygen radicals and destroy them). Differs in good tolerance, reduces the risk of relapse in Crohn’s disease, especially in patients with ileitis an long duration of the disease.

Indications

Nonspecific ulcerative colitis,

Crohn’s disease (prevention and treatment of exacerbations).

Contraindications

Diseases of the blood, severe violations of the liver and / or kidneys, peptic ulcer of the stomach or duodenal ulcer in the acute phase, blood coagulation disorders, children under 2 years of age, hypersensitivity to salicylates.

Precautions:

Use with caution in liver and kidney diseases, deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate
