Each tablet contains:
Ergocalciferol 0.25 mg
Auxiliary components:
Microcrystalline cellulose, colodial silicone, starch, sodium fumarate.
Properties
Fat-soluble vitamin D2. Regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body. Its active metabolites (in particular, calcitriol) easily penetrate cell membranes and bind in target organ cells with special receptors, which helps to activate the synthesis of calcium-binding proteins, facilitate the absorption of calcium and phosphorus (secondary) in the intestine, and enhance their reabsorption in the proximal kidney tubules , as well as increasing the uptake by bone tissue and preventing the resorption of their bone tissue.
An increase in calcium in the blood begins within 12-24 hours after takinq the drua, the therapeutic effect is observed after 10-14 days and lasts up to 6 months.
