Composition

Each gram of cream contains:

Batamethasone 17-valerate 0.1%

Clioquinol 3%

Auxiliary components: Chlorocresol, cetomacrogol, soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, phosphoric acid, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Properties

A combination, the action of which is due to the components that make up it.

Betamethasone is a synthetic corticosteroi which has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antipruritic and vasoconstrictor effects. When applied topically, it narrows blood vessels,

eliminates itching, reduces the release of inflammatory mediators (from eosinophils and mast cells), IL-I and IL-2, y-interferon (from lymphocytes and macrophages), inhibits the activity of hyaluronidase and reduces the permeability of the vascular wall. Interacts with specific receptors in the cytoplasm of the cell, stimulates the synthesis of mRNA, which induces the formation of proteins, incl.

Indications

dermatoses, allergic and inflammatory skin diseases amenable to GCS therapy, in the presence of a secondary infection caused b microorganisms susceptible to gentamicin, or if such an infection is suspected, incl. eczema (atopic, children’s, coin-like), dermatitis (contact, allergic, seborrheic, atopic, solar, exfoliative, radiation), neurodermatitis, diaper rash, psoriasis, lichen planus, phleboderma, pyoderma, anogenital and senile pruritus. It is used for skin lesions against the background of eczema or psoriasis, for diseases of wet or oily skin. Skin infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to clioquinol.

Method of administration and dosage:

Apply externally to damaged skin, once or twice a day for 4 weeks. Children: Consult a physician before use.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, bacterial (skin tuberculosis, skin manifestations of syphilis), fungal, viral (chickenpox, herpes simplex) skin diseases, post-vaccination skin reactions, open wounds, trophic ulcers of the leg, rosacea, acne vulgaris, skin cancer, nevus, atheroma, melanoma , hemangioma, xanthoma, sarcoma, children under 1 year of age (cream and ointment), breastfeeding period.

With care: Cataract, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, tuberculosis (with prolonged use or

application to large areas of the body), children from 2 to 12 years old.

Side effects

Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders:

itching, burning, irritation, dry skin, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, striae, acne-like rashes («steroid» acne), hypopigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, skin

maceration, secondary infection, skin atrophy, local hirsutism, telangiectasia, prickly heat, purpura.
