Composition

Each 1 ml contains:

Benzocaine 15 mg

Benzydamine hydrochloride 1.5 mg

Cetalkonium chloride 0.413 mg

Auxiliary components:

Propylene glycol, glycerin, ethanol, aspartame, sodium hydrogen phosphate 12H20, sodium hydrogen phosphate 2H20, cherry flavor, purified water.

Properties

-Benzocaine is an ester-type local anesthetic. The mechanism of action is reversible inhibition of the flow of sodium and potassium ions through the axonal membranes of peripheral pain receptors. As a result, depolarization and propagation of nerve impulses are suppressed. The effect of benzocaine on the mucous membranes appears quickly due to the spraying of the anesthetic directly to the site of action, rapi absorption and analgesic effect: local anesthesia caused by benzocaine is temporary. — Benzydamine has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by stabilizing the cell membrane and inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins.

Cetalkonium chloride is an antiseptic compound of quaternary ammonium with bactericidal activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, various fungi and some viruses. …

Indications

Symptomatic treatment of sore throat. BBC Spray is a very effective pain reliever and antiinflammatory agent for treating throat and mouth infections.

It is indicated for the relief of pain in trauma such as tonsillectomy or the use of nasogastric lubricant.

Method of administration and dosage:

Contraindications

children under 6 years old;

-Known hypersensitivity to benzocaine, benzydamine, cetalkonium chloride and any other ingredients of the drug.

Precautions:

Side effects

The most common side effects are numbness and tingling in the mouth.

Respiratory, laryngeal and respiratory disorders. Allergic reactions to benzocaine have occasionally occurred. From time to time, there have been reports of temporary difficulty breathing, swelling of the mouth and throat.

Methemoglobinemia has been reported with benzocaine.
