Properties

Pidgeum’s pharmacological studies have shown that the drug has an effect on prostate adenoma by preventing the appearance of the adenomatous aspect and, in particular, inhibits the formation of characteristic dilatation.

Prostakur does not show any androgenic or estrogenic effect, does not have a direct effect on the secondary genital organs, nor does it interfere with the regulatory mechanism with the participation of hormones.

Pharmacokinetic studies have shown that the drug is easily absorbed and well tolerated, well absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract. From pharmacodynamic studies, it follows that doses of 100-200 mg / day have no effect on blood pressure, respiration, or the functioning of the nervous system.

Indications

* Acute and / or chronic prostatitis.

* Prostate adenoma.

* Dysuria.

Contraindications

No contraindications are known. Although the drug is not indicated for prostate cancer, it can be prescribed in cases of an unclear diagnosis between a neoplasm and an adenoma, since it will not aggravate the development of the disease.

Side effects

In rare cases, there were complaints of stomach upset.

Mode of application:

One capsule should be taken in the morning and evening before meals for a period of 20 to 45 days. The courses should be repeated every 6-8 months, or even more often if urinary disorders reappear. The maximum daily dose of the drug should not exceed four capsules per day.
