Composition
Each tablet contains:
Olmesartan medoxomil 40 mg
Amlodipine 10mg
Hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg
Auxiliary components:
Mannitol, crospovidone, polyvinyl purrolidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate.
Properties
Erastapex tri is a combined preparation, which includes an angiotensin II receptor antagonist (olmesartan medoxomil), a thiazide diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide) and amlodipine besylate, a calcium channel blocker. The combination of these three active substances has a synergistic effect and helps to lower blood pressure to a greater extent than each active ingredient separately, has a combined antihypertensive effect, as a result of which blood pressure decreases to a greater extent than when each of them is taken separately. When taking the drug once a day, an effective and uniform decrease in blood pressure is achieved within 24 hours.
Indications
— essential arterial hypertension
The drug is indicated for patients in whom monotherapy with olmesartan medoxomil or amlodipine does not provide the necessary control of blood pressure.
Method of administration and dosage:
Contraindications
-shock (including cardiogenic shock);
— violation of the outflow of blood from the left ventricle (for example, with severe aortic stenosis);
— hemodynamically unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction.
Side effects
From the side of the central nervous system:
Often: dizziness.
Uncommon: syncope.
