Composition
Each p / o tablet contains:
Paracetamol — 500mg.
Chlorpheniramine maleate — 2mg.
Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 30mg
Auxiliary components: PVP 25, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose (Avisel pH 101), colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose 15CP, macrogol 4000, titanium dioxide.
Properties
Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic effects. Chlorphenamine is one of the most powerful antihistamines available. Effective for treating symptoms of allergic origin. Pseudoephedrine is a sympathomimetic agent that has both direct and indirect effects on adrenergic receptors, has a decongestant effect on the nasal mucosa.
Indications
symptomatic relief of nasal congestion and congestion of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, especially when accompanied by mild to moderate pain or hyperthermia, for example, colds and flu, sinusitis, rhinopharyngitis, allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, runny nose, itchy eyes, watery eyes, and sneezing.
Mode of application:
adults and children from 16 years of age and older take 1-2 tablets orally every 4-6 hours, up to 4 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets. Children 12 to 15 years old: 1 tablet every 4-6 hours up to 4 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 4 tablets. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
Contraindications
children under 12 years old; hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Patients with severe hypertension or coronary artery disease; epilepsy; cardiovascular diseases; diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism; angle-closure glaucoma; severe renal failure; a stomach or duodenal ulcer or other stomach problems. Pregnancy and lactation.
Precautionary measures:
Pseudoephedrine should be used with caution in patients suffering from mild to moderate hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, increased intraocular pressure, enlarged prostate or bladder dysfunction, with severe renal or severe hepatic impairment. Patients with bronchial asthma should consult a doctor before using the drug.
Side effects
excitation of the central nervous system: sleep disturbance, hallucinations; skin rashes; delay in urination; anxiety, tremors, heart rhythm disturbances, palpitations, tachycardia, hypertension, nausea, vomiting, constipation, headache, dizziness; blurred vision, anorexia, dry mouth; convulsions.
Storage method:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25C in a dry place out of the reach of children.
