Composition

1 g of cream contains:

Isoconazole nitrate (1%) — 10mg.

Diflucortolone valerate (0.1%) — 1mg.

Properties

Isoconazole nitrate is an imidazole derivative with antifungal activity. It is active against a wide range of pathogenic fungi, including Candida spp., Dematophytes, yeast and yeast-like microorganisms, and mold.

Indications

for the treatment of superficial fungal skin lesions in the interdigital spaces of the feet, hands, groin and genitals.

Mode of application:

adults should apply the cream 2 times a day to the affected area of the skin. For fungal infections of the interdigital spaces of the legs or hands: apply a gauze bandage with cream between the fingers and toes. After the skin manifestations have disappeared or after a maximum of 2 weeks, stop applying Candyur-D and, if necessary, continue treatment with Candyur-D, steroid-free (if Candicur-D is applied to the groin and genital areas).

Contraindications

childhood; hypersensitivity to active substances or any of the excipients; the presence of syphilitic or tuberculous lesions; viral infections (chickenpox, shingles); pregnancy and lactation.

Precautionary measures:

in the presence of dermatosis, accompanied by a bacterial infection, further special treatment is required. If the cream is used on the face, avoid contact with the eyes. Extensive use of corticosteroids on large surfaces of the body or over a long period of time, especially with a closed dressing, can significantly increase the risk of side effects. Personal underwear (gloves, towels and underwear — preferably cotton) should be changed and washed daily to avoid recontamination. With a fungal infection of the foot, the interdigital spaces should be thoroughly dried after washing the foot, and the socks should be changed daily.

Side effects

local reactions — burning, blistering, or skin rash; during long-term treatment (more than 4 weeks): skin atrophy, stretch marks, acne lesions. Folliculitis, dermatitis, allergic skin reactions.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C, out of reach of children.
