Properties

Amrizol N vaginal suppositories contain metronidazole, an effective agent for the prevention and treatment of protozoal infections, such as vaginal Trichomonas, and anaerobic vaginal infections, such as bacteria Bacteroides, Clostridia, Fusobacteria … etc. And also contain nystatin, which has fungistatic and fungicidal action, is active against a wide range of yeasts, yeast-like fungi and Candida albicans.

Indications

— Local treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis caused by Candida albicans and other Candida species.

— Prevention and treatment of Trichomonas vaginalis infection.

— Prevention and treatment of anaerobic vaginal infections, including infections with Bacteroides, Clostridia or Fusobacteria.

Contraindications

-Known hypersensitivity to metronidazole or nystatin;

-leukopenia (including history);

-organic lesions of the central nervous system (including epilepsy);

Side effects

Nervous system and sensory organs: headache, impaired coordination of movements, dizziness, ataxia, syncope, confusion, depression, irritability, increased excitability;

digestive system: diarrhea, nausea, loss of appetite, vomiting, constipation, intestinal colic, dryness and an unpleasant «metallic» taste in the mouth, stomatitis, glossitis, pancreatitis;

genitourinary system: cystitis, dysuria, urinary incontinence, polyuria;
