Compound:

Each 5 ml of syrup contains:

Paracetamol — 160mg.

Chlorpheniramine maleate — 1mg.

Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride — 15mg.

Auxiliary components:

polyethylene glycol 4000, propylene glycol, glycerin, sorbitol solution 70%, sodium benzoate, sodium saccharin, cherry flavor, polyvinylpyrrolidone K-25, purified water.

Properties

Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic effects. Chlorphenamine is one of the most powerful antihistamines. Effective for relieving symptoms of various allergic reactions. Relieves nasal congestion and watery eyes. Pseudoephedrine is a sympathomimetic agent that has both direct and indirect effects on adrenergic receptors, has a decongestant effect on the nasal mucosa.

Indications

symptomatic relief of nasal congestion and mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, especially those accompanied by mild to moderate pain or pyrexia, such as colds and flu, sinusitis, nasopharyngitis, allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, runny nose, itchy eyes and nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Mode of application:

children from 6-12 years old: 10 ml every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not take with other products containing paracetamol. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

Contraindications

children under 6 years old; hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug. Patients with severe hypertension or CAD; epilepsy; cardiovascular diseases; diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism; angle-closure glaucoma; severe renal failure; stomach or duodenal ulcer or other stomach problems. Pregnancy and lactation.

Precautionary measures:

Pseudoephedrine should be used with caution in patients suffering from mild to moderate hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, elevated intraocular pressure, prostate enlargement or bladder dysfunction, with severe renal or severe liver failure. Patients with bronchial asthma should consult a doctor before using the drug.

Side effects

excitation of the central nervous system: sleep disturbance, hallucinations; skin rashes; urinary retention; anxiety, tremor, cardiac arrhythmias, palpitations, tachycardia, hypertension, nausea, vomiting, constipation, headache, dizziness; blurred vision, anorexia, dry mouth; convulsions.
