Each 5 g contains:
Piperazine citrate 0.128 g colchicine 0.3 mg.
Atropine sulfate 0.128 mg.
Properties
Colchicine is used to relieve acute attacks of gout and prevent acute attacks.
Colchicine relieves acute gout by providing rapid relief from pain and reducing the inflammatory response to urate crystals. The effect may be due to several mechanisms, including a decrease in leukocyte motility.
Piperidine causes a clear decrease in serum uric acid levels.

Acute and chronic gout
Gouty arthritis
Prevention of the formation of urate stones
Dosage and administration
One sachet (5 g) diluted in half a glass of water, taken before meals, 3 times a day, or as directed by a physician.
Contraindications
hypersensitivity to any of the components.
Pregnancy
Acute dehydration, anuria or hyperkalemia.
Side effects
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea can sometimes occur.
Storage method:
In a dry cool place at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.
