Properties

Terconazole is an antifungal agent for topical use. Local agents are safe, quickly create high concentrations on the surface of the mucous membrane, reduce the likelihood of fungal resistance. Despite a short course of treatment, the symptoms of the disease are eliminated in 80 — 90% of cases.

Indications

Terconazole is used for the topical treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis.

Dosage and administration

Apply one applicator 5 g once a day before going to bed, the course of treatment is 7 days.

Contraindications

The use of the drug Terconazole during pregnancy is not recommended, it is allowed only in the first trimester.

Side effects

There are no systemic side effects. Locally can cause irritation and burning.
