Properties

Combined preparation for external use.

Isoconazole is a synthetic derivative of imidazole. It has antifungal and antibacterial action. It acts fungicidal and bactericidal. Suppresses the synthesis of ergosterol membranes of fungal cells, causing its death, blocks the synthesis of bacterial proteins. Active against dermatophytes (Trichophyton spp., Microsporum spp., Epidermophyton spp.), molds, yeasts and yeast-like fungi (Candida spp., Pityrosporum orbiculare/ovale), Corynebacterium minutissium (erythrasma pathogen), Trichomonas and Gram-positive bacteria (Streptococcus spp. , Staphylococcus spp.).

Diflucortolone valerate — GCS for external use. It has anti-inflammatory, antiexudative, antiallergic and antipruritic effects.

Indications

Dermatoses of combined etiology, sensitive to GCS therapy, infected with fungal or bacterial flora.

Fungal skin lesions, incl. secondarily infected, accompanied by severe inflammatory or eczema-like symptoms: mycoses of the feet and skin, incl. with localization in the folds, interdigital spaces, the area of the external genital organs (including balanoposthitis): microsporia, trichophytosis, rubrophytosis, epidermophytosis; candidomycosis; erythrasma.

Dosage and administration

Travodermal is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin and gently rubbed 2 times / day (morning and night). The maximum duration of treatment is 2 weeks.

Contraindications

-lupus;

— skin manifestations of syphilis;

— viral skin lesions (chicken pox, shingles);

Side effects

Usually the cream is well tolerated, even when applied to sensitive skin.

Rare: skin irritation and allergic reactions.

Considering that the drug contains corticosteroids for external use, when using the cream on large surfaces (more than 10% of the skin surface), for a long time (more than 4 weeks) and / or when using an occlusive dressing, side effects characteristic of corticosteroids may occur. : skin atrophy, telangiectasia, striae, acne-like dermatitis, perioral dermatitis, hypertrichosis, as well as systemic side effects (suppression of the function of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system).
