Diclofenac potassium 50 mg

Metocarbamol 500 mg

Auxiliary components:

Starch, croscarmellose, povidone K30, magnesium stearate, talc.

Properties

Diclofenac Potassium:

non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Dimra tablets contain the potassium salt of diclofenac, an ncn-steroldate compound with pronounced and clinically manifested analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties. Diclofenac is a potent inhibitor of prostaglandin biosynthesis and a modulator of the release and absorption of arachidonic acid. Diclofenac Potassium has a rapid onset of action and is therefore suitable for the treatment of acute attacks of pain and inflammation.

Methocarbamol 500 is used as a short-term adjunct to the symptomatic treatment of acute musculoskeletal disorders associated with painful muscle spasms.

Indications

For the relief of pain in musculoskeletal disorders associated with muscle spasm and injury, such as:

— stretching

— backache

Dosage and administration

Unless otherwise directed by a physician, 1 to 3 tablets daily.

— For oral administration.

— Preferably taken with or after meals.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to diclofenac, methocarbamol or any of the excipients. Due to the presence of Dclofenac Potassium:

• Active or recurrent bleeding from a history of peptic ulcer (two or more separate episodes of proven ulcer or bleeding).

• NSAIDs are contraindicated in patients who have previously experienced hypersensitivity reactions (eg, asthma, rhinitis, angioedema, or urticaria) in response to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Side effects

From the nervous system: often — headache, dizziness; rarely — drowsiness;

On the part of the organ of hearing and labyrinth disorders: often — vertigo; very rarely — hearing impairment, tinnitus.

From the digestive system: often — dry mouth, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, belching, heartburn, diarrhea, dyspepsia, flatulence, anorexia, increased activity of hepatic transferases in the blood serum; infrequently — loss of appetite, anorexia; rarely — gastrointestinal bleeding, vomiting of blood, melena, diarrhea mixed with blood, stomach and intestinal ulcers (with or without bleeding or perforation), gastritis, hepatitis, jaundice.
