Properties
An antifungal agent that inhibits the synthesis of cell membrane ergosterol. Active against dermatophytes, yeast and some other fungi. Shows antimicrobial activity against gram-positive microorganisms. Does not change the composition of the microflora and the pH of the vagina. Quickly relieves itching that usually accompanies fungal infections.
Indications
vaginal and vulvovaginal candidiasis, superinfection caused by gram-positive microorganisms; fungal balanitis.
Dosage and administration
1 vaginal suppository (200 mg) is injected deep into the vagina at night. After the disappearance of symptoms, treatment is continued for another 7-14 days.
Contraindications
Increased sensitivity to the drug.
Precautionary measures:
Prescribed with caution in diabetes mellitus, microcirculation disorders.
Side effects
General disorders and disorders at the injection site: rare — especially at the beginning of treatment, local irritation of the vaginal mucosa, itching, burning sensation, rash, itchy rash, dysmenorrhea are possible.
Storage method:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.
