Each tablet contains:
mesalazine (5-ASA) 500 mg
Auxiliary components:
povidone, ethylcellulose, magnesium stearate, talc, microcrystalline cellulose.
Properties
An anti-inflammatory drug used to treat Crohn’s disease and UC.
It has a local anti-inflammatory effect due to inhibition of the activity of neutrophilic lipoxygenase and the synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes. It slows down the migration, degranulation, phagocytosis of neutrophils, as well as the secretion of immunoglobulins by lymphocytes.
It has an antibacterial effect against Escherichia coli and some cocci (manifested in the large intestine).
Indications
— non-specific ulcerative colitis; — Crohn’s disease.
Mode of application:
Tablets should be swallowed without chewing. For ease of swallowing, the tablet can be divided into several parts or dissolved in water or juice immediately before taking.
Contraindications
-blood diseases;
— peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum;
— deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase;
Side effects
From the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, heartburn.
From the side of the cardiovascular system: palpitations, tachycardia, increase or decrease in blood pressure, chest pain, shortness of breath, pericarditis, myocarditis.
From the side of the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system: headache, tinnitus, dizziness, polyneuropathy, tremor, depression.
Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.
