Fusidic acid 2 mg
Properties
Bacteriostatic antibiotic.
Fusidic acid belongs to the group of fusidins, antimicrobial compounds, the mechanism of action of which is associated with a violation of protein synthesis in a bacterial cell.
Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative cocci are sensitive to fusidic acid, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis (including methicillin-resistant strains), Nocardia asteroides, Corynebacterium minutissimum, Streptococcus pyogenes, Pseudomonas spp., Clostridium spp., Neisseria meningitidis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
Indications
Skin infections caused by bacteria sensitive to fusidic acid.
Dosage and administration
Outwardly.
Adults and children from birth to 18 years of age: Apply to the affected areas of the skin in a thin layer 3-4 times a day.
When using gauze dressings, the frequency of application can be reduced to 1-2 times a day.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
With caution: pregnancy, lactation.

Side effects
From the skin and subcutaneous tissues: infrequently — rash (erythematous, maculopapular, pustular), skin irritation, including pain, burning sensation, tingling sensation on the skin, itching, dry skin, contact dermatitis; rarely — urticaria, angioedema, eczema, periorbital edema, erythema.
From the immune system: rarely — allergic reactions.
On the part of the organ of vision: rarely — irritation of the conjunctiva.
