Properties

Alka-Misr is an effective preparation used to prepare an aqueous alkaline solution that is used as an antimicrobial, antipruritic, lubricating and mild astringent nasal and throat wash to wash viscous secretions from mucous membranes.

It can also be used as a vaginal douche for profuse vaginal discharge during inflammation and infection.

Indications

1- Nose and throat:

-Rinse the nose to remove mucus and moisten the mucous membrane.

— As a mouth and throat rinse for inflammation, dental problems and aphthous ulcers.

Dosage and administration

1 — Washing the mouth and nose:

dissolve the contents of one sachet (5 g) in a glass of warm water:

— As a nasal rinse: use 3 to 5 times a day.

Not found.

Contraindications

Do not use during pregnancy.

Storage

In a dry, dark place at a temperature not exceeding 30C.
