Compound:
Each tablet contains:
Amlodipine 10 mg
Valsartan 160 mg
Auxiliary components:
Crospovidone, sodium gluconate, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silicone dioxide, talc, titanium dioxide.
Properties
Combined antihypertensive drug containing: amlodipine (a dihydropyridine derivative) and valsartan (angiotensin II receptor antagonist). The combination of these components has a mutually complementary hypotensive effect, which leads to a more pronounced decrease in blood pressure than when they are used separately.
Indications
Arterial hypertension in patients who are indicated for combination therapy with amlodipine and valsartan.
Dosage and administration
Inside, 1 time per day. Usually the initial dose is 5/160 mg for patients who do not have reduced BCC. If necessary, after 1-2 weeks of therapy, the dose can be increased to a maximum of 10/160 mg.
Contraindications
— severe liver failure (more than 9 points on the Child-Pugh scale);
— biliary cirrhosis and cholestasis;
— severe renal failure (CC <30 ml / min);
Side effects
Infectious and parasitic diseases: often — influenza.
From the side of metabolism: often — hypokalemia; infrequently — hypercalcemia, hyperlipidemia, hyperuricemia, hyponatremia.
From the nervous system: often — headache; infrequently — impaired coordination, dizziness, postural dizziness, paresthesia, drowsiness; rarely — anxiety.
