Each gram of gel contains:
Lidocaine hydrochloride 0.33%
Cetylpyridinium chloride 0.10%
Auxiliary components:
Ethanol, saccharin, polyethoxylated castor oil.
Properties
Combined drug for topical use. Cetylpyridinium chloride has antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and, to a lesser extent, Gram-negative bacteria. Does not affect bacterial spores. It has variable antifungal activity, effective against some viruses. Lidocaine has a local anesthetic effect, which contributes to the rapid and long-term reduction of pain in case of inflammation and damage to the oral mucosa and gums.
Facilitates teething in children, provides painless and uncomplicated appearance of the first incisors, milk and subsequent molars.
Indications
For topical use in skin diseases, infections of the mouth and throat.
Dosage and administration
Apply a small amount of gel to a clean fingertip or cotton and gently apply to the child’s gums. If necessary, you can repeat every 20 minutes.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the combination.
Precautionary measures:
Avoid getting the drug in the eyes.
