Composition

Each tablet contains:

Nebivolol (as hydrochloride) 2.5 mg

Auxiliary components:

Lactose monohydrate, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, polysorbate.

Properties

Cardioselective beta1-blocker. Nebivolol has hypotensive, antianginal and antiarrhythmic effects. Reduces high blood pressure at rest, during physical exertion and stress. Competitively and selectively blocks postsynaptic β1-adrenergic receptors, making them inaccessible to catecholamines, modulates the release of endothelial vasodilating factor nitric oxide (NO).

Indications

-arterial hypertension;

-IHD: prevention of angina attacks;

— chronic heart failure (as part of combination therapy).

Contraindications

— acute heart failure;

— chronic heart failure in the stage of decompensation;

— severe arterial hypotension;

Side effects

From the nervous system: often — headache, dizziness, fatigue, weakness, paresthesia;

From the gastrointestinal tract: often — dryness of the oral mucosa, nausea, constipation, diarrhea;

From the respiratory system: often — shortness of breath; infrequently — bronchospasm, rhinitis.
