Composition
Each tablet contains:
Telmisartan 80 mg
Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg
Auxiliary components:
sodium hydroxide, povidone, meglumine, sorbitol, magnesium stearate, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, iron oxide red dye, sodium carboxymethyl starch, corn starch.
Properties
Antihypertensive drug. It is a combination of telmisartan (angiotensin II receptor antagonist) and hydrochlorothiazide (thiazide diuretic). The simultaneous use of these components leads to a greater antihypertensive effect than the use of each of them separately. Taking Mikardis Plus 1 time / day leads to a significant gradual decrease in blood pressure.
Indications
— arterial hypertension (in case of ineffectiveness of telmisartan or hydrochlorothiazide as monotherapy).
Method of administration and dosage:
Mikardis Plus should be taken orally 1 time / day, regardless of food intake.
Contraindications
-obstructive diseases of the biliary tract;
— severe liver dysfunctions (class C on the Child-Pugh scale);
— severe renal dysfunction (CC <30 ml / min);
Side effects
Infections and invasions: rarely — bronchitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis.
From the immune system: rarely — strengthening or activation of systemic lupus erythematosus.
Metabolic disorders: infrequently — hypokalemia; rarely — hyperuricemia, hyponatremia.
