Properties

When women reach perimenopausal age, a number of pathological and psychological changes occur. This is mainly due to a sharp decrease in the level of estrogen in the blood. This leads to an increase in the secretion of some other hormones (FSH and LH). Black Cohosh extract can reduce the level of these hormones and stop the symptoms of menopause.

Indications

Dietary supplement for menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and profuse sweating.

Dosage and administration

One capsule daily or as directed by a physician.

Black cohosh should not be taken for more than 6 months without medical advice.

Contraindications

— Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance.

Precautionary measures:

— Patients with a history of liver disease should take preparations of the extract of black cohosh racemos with caution;

— Hepatobiliary disorders;

— Toxicity to the liver (including hepatitis, jaundice, abnormal liver function tests due to the use of products containing black cohosh extract);
