Composition

Each 1 ml ampoule contains:

Phytomenadione (Vitamin K1) 10 mg

Auxiliary components:

polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, sodium acetate, glacial acetic acid, water for injection.

Properties

Vitamin K1 is necessary for the production of coagulation factors of the prothrombin complex in the liver. It is a microsomal coenzyme enzyme that catalyzes the post-translational carboxylation of glutamic acid residues in the precursor molecule of the aforementioned coagulation factors.

Vitamin K1 is involved in the formation of gamma-carboxyglutamic acid residues in bone tissue and kidneys.

Indications

— with hemorrhagic syndrome (increased bleeding) with hypoprothrombinemia (decreased blood levels of prothrombin or blood clotting factor VII);

— for the prevention of patients with a predisposition to hemorrhage associated with low blood levels of prothrombin or blood clotting factor VII.

Method of administration and dosage:

Contraindications

Amri-K is not used in patients with a hypersensitivity reaction to its composition.

Precautionary measures:

Vitamin K1 affects the clotting processes, you should wait for the right time to synthesize most of the clotting factors. The effect does not appear immediately. Usually it can be expected in 6-10 hours. Full effect in 1-2 days.

Side effects

There have been rare reports of anaphylactoid reactions after parenteral administration of Amri-K.

In rare cases, injection site reactions can occur that can be serious, including inflammation, tissue necrosis, redness, sweating, and taste disturbances.
