Korneregel Fluid eye drops 10 ml
Tradename
Corneregel Fluid
Composition
Each 1 ml of solution contains:
Dexpanthenol 50 mg
Auxiliary components:
Cetrimide, disodium edetate, hypromellose, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, water for injection.
Properties
The active ingredient of the drug Korneregel is dexpanthenol / panthenol, a precursor of pantothenic acid, which, therefore, has all the same biological properties as D-pantothenic acid, which, having turned into coenzyme A in the human body, is involved in many metabolic processes.
The data obtained in experiments on animals indicate an increase in fibroblast proliferation and the presence of a regenerating effect. When applied externally, dexpanthenol is able to compensate for the increased need for pantothenic acid in damaged skin or mucous membranes.
The ophthalmic fluid has a high viscosity, which allows for long-term contact of dexpanthenol with the surface of the mucous membrane of the eye.
Indications
— dry eye syndrome;
-treatment of non-inflammatory keratopathy, for example, such as corneal dystrophy, recurrent erosion, corneal lesions when wearing contact lenses;
— as an auxiliary therapy to stimulate the healing process of the cornea and conjunctiva during their injuries and burns (chemical and thermal);
Contraindications
Individual hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
With care: pregnancy; period of breastfeeding (clinical data are not available).
