Livagol 450 mg 20 capsules
Tradename
Livagoal
Composition
Each capsule contains:
Ursodeoxycholic acid 450 mg
Auxiliary components:
Povidone, dicalcium phosphate, methylparaben, propylparaben, aerosil, magnesium stearate.
Properties
Hepatoprotector. Ursodeoxycholic acid is a bile acid. Reduces cholesterol in bile mainly by dispersing cholesterol and forming a liquid crystal phase. It affects the enterohepatic circulation of bile salts, reducing the reabsorption of endogenous, more hydrophobic and potentially toxic compounds in the intestine.
In vitro studies have shown that ursodeoxycholic acid has a direct hepatoprotective effect and reduces the hepatotoxicity of hydrophobic bile salts.
It has an effect on immunological reactions, reducing the pathological expression of class I HLA antigens on hepatocytes and suppressing the production of cytokines and interleukins.
Indications
— dissolution of small and medium cholesterol stones with a functioning gallbladder;
— prevention of recurrence of stone formation after cholecystectomy;
-biliary reflux gastritis and reflux esophagitis;
Contraindications
