Composition

Each tablet contains:

Calcium acetate 700 mg

Auxiliary components:

Kollidon K30, avicel, aerosil, talc, magnesium stearate.

Properties

Restores a positive calcium balance. Absorbs phosphorus from the gastrointestinal tract, reduces serum phosphorus levels.

Indications

It is used for hyperphosphatemia, lack of calcium in the body, osteoporosis, to reduce the risk of kidney disease from excess phosphates. With acute renal failure and chronic renal failure, in people on dialysis, when, despite dietary restriction of phosphorus, phosphate binders are prescribed.

Method of administration and dosage:

Adults take 1-2 tablets daily with meals.

Contraindications

Hypercalcemia, severe vascular calcification, individual intolerance.

Precautionary measures:

Despite the fact that calcium acetate (calcium acetate) is a drug that replenishes calcium deficiency in the body (digestibility — 32%), during pregnancy, its use is possible only if absolutely necessary.
