Properties

Diclofenac sodium belongs to non-steroidal drugs with pronounced antirheumatic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties.

Indications

Adjuvant treatment for painful inflammatory ear infections such as otitis media;

throats, for example, pharyngitis and tonsillitis, are used in complex therapy. Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

Pain syndrome after the extraction of teeth, tonsils.

Contraindications

A history of hypersensitivity to aspirin or any other NSAID, including those with asthma, urticaria, or rhinitis attacks that were triggered by aspirin. Patients with peptic ulcer disease, severe heart failure.

Precautionary measures:

It should be used with caution in allergic disorders, in patients with gastrointestinal diseases (especially elderly patients), blood clotting disorders, in patients with renal, heart or hepatic insufficiency. NSAIDs can interfere with kidney function.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions (especially rash, bronchospasm);

gastrointestinal disorders; irritation of the rectum.
