Properties

Essential phospholipids have hepatoprotective and hypolipidemic effects. Phosphatidylcholine (the main component of phospholipids) is the main structural element of cellular and intracellular membranes, is able to restore their structure and function in case of damage, providing a cytoprotective effect. It normalizes protein and lipid metabolism, prevents the loss of enzymes and other active substances by hepatocytes, restores liver function, inhibits the formation of connective tissue, reducing the risk of developing liver fibrosis and cirrhosis.

Cysteine aids digestion by participating in transamination processes. Promotes the neutralization of some toxic substances and protects the body from the damaging effects of radiation. One of the most powerful antioxidants, its antioxidant effect is enhanced when taken with selenium.

Cysteine is a precursor to glutathione, a substance that protects liver and brain cells from damage from alcohol, certain drugs, and toxic substances in cigarette smoke.

Indications

— fatty degeneration of the liver (including diabetes mellitus);

— acute and chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, liver cell necrosis, hepatic coma and precoma, toxic liver damage;

-toxicosis of pregnancy;

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
