Properties

Tansy maidenhair, also known as medieval aspirin or wild chamomile, is an herb with anti-inflammatory properties.

Tansy maiden is often used to prevent migraines. The effect of tansy maiden is enhanced when taken, reaching a maximum at the 12th week of the course, after which the reception can be continued without time limits. Tansy maiden is effective in reducing the severity and frequency of migraines when taken in the previously described manner. There is evidence that eating tansy maiden may reduce the duration of a migraine and alleviate the increased sensory sensitivity that is exacerbated during a migraine. Traditionally, tansy has been used to relieve arthritis and inflammation.

In vitro data show that tansy maidenhair is a powerful anti-inflammatory herb.

Indications

A traditional herbal remedy used for the prevention of migraine headaches, based only on traditional use after a doctor has ruled out serious illnesses. Dosage and administration:

Adults:

Take orally 1 capsule per day.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components of the drug.

Age up to 18 years.

Feverfew (tansy maiden) is contraindicated in pregnancy because it can cause uterine contractions. Nursing mothers should not take it either.

Side effects

Among the side reactions when taking tansy girl, indigestion, heartburn, flatulence and nausea, rash, and nervousness are sometimes observed. Long-term use of tansy maiden followed by abrupt withdrawal can cause headaches, muscle and joint pain.

Do not chew the drug because contact with the oral cavity, as this is fraught with the appearance of ulcers, swelling of the mouth, tongue and lips, short-term loss of taste.
