Bitter almonds are of ancient origin. To make butter, nuts are first pressed and soaked in warm water for 12-24 hours. Bitter almond oil contains a lot of oleic acid, thanks to which it is easily absorbed and distributed over the skin. It softens the skin well, but in its pure form it can be comedogenic. It has anti-inflammatory, rejuvenating, nourishing, moisturizing, anti-burn, analgesic and softening effect.
Can be used for all skin types. Especially useful for skin irritations, peeling, dry, inflamed skin:
• for the care of inflamed areas of the body;
• for the care of dry and flabby skin (revives it and smoothes wrinkles, especially around the eyes);
• for the care of sensitive skin prone to irritation, gives it a velvety shade and a beautiful even color;
• with eczema;
• with solar and domestic thermal burns, minor skin injuries;
• when sprained;
• for the prevention and reduction of cellulite;
• is a hair growth stimulator, gives them shine and elasticity;
• helps lower cholesterol levels when taken orally chilled;
• aroma of bitter almonds are afraid of mosquitoes.
MODE OF APPLICATION:
Almond oil can be used in its pure form for skin care of the body, face, hands and hair, to enrich cosmetics: creams, masks, shampoos, gels, lotions, as well as mixed with other vegetable oils. Almond oil can be added to creams, shampoos, lotions, gels in the following ratio: for dry skin and hair, 7 ml of almond oil per 100 ml of cosmetic product; for normal skin and hair — 5 ml, for oily hair — 3 ml, 15-20 ml per 100 ml of cosmetics.
As a massage oil alone or in combination with essential oils (per 10 g of almond oil, 3-6 drops of your chosen essential oil). It is an excellent massage oil for children.
Mix almond oil well with jojoba oil in equal proportions and, after preheating the mixture to a temperature of t 37-38ºC, use for 1-2 minutes to massage the face and neck. Helps smooth wrinkles and provides a tonic.
Almond oil enriched with essential oils (1-2 drops per 1 tablespoon) of orange, tangerine or grapefruit is an excellent tool for deep cellulite massage.
For burns: apply pure almond oil or mixed with wheat germ oil (1:1) to the affected areas of the skin.
In case of sprains: apply compresses soaked in pure almond oil or with the addition of 2-3 drops of lavender, oregano or clove essential oils to 1 tablespoon of the base, 1-2 times a day for 20-25 minutes.
For hair:
For oily hair, almond oil is used in its pure form: before washing the head, rub the oil in a few drops, starting from the roots to the ends of the hair. With dry hair, the oil is rubbed after shampooing into wet, warm hair in the same way.
To stimulate hair growth, almond oil is rubbed into the hair roots, left for 15-60 minutes, and then washed off with shampoo.
