Alogliptin 12.5 mg
Metformin hydrochloride 500 mg
Properties
Inhibamet is a combination of two hypoglycemic agents with complementary and different mechanisms of action designed to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM): alogliptin, an inhibitor of the enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), and metformin, a member of the biguanide class .
Indications
Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults aged 18 years and older to improve glycemic control in addition to diet and exercise.
Dosage and administration
The drug is taken orally.
Assign 1 tab. 2 times / day simultaneously with food intake in order to reduce unwanted reactions from the gastrointestinal tract. The tablets should be swallowed whole, without chewing, with water.
The dose of the drug is selected individually.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to alogliptin or metformin or any of the excipients.type 1 diabetes;
diabetic ketoacidosis, diabetic precoma, coma;
moderate or severe renal failure (creatinine clearance less than 60 ml / min);
Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
